Mechanical Warranty
Royal Care Warranty - Auto Pedigree
Auto Pedigree's Royal Care Warranty offers financial protection in the event of an unexpected mechanical breakdown. It is underwritten by Regent Insurance Company and administered by SA Warranties.
The cover is for 2 years or 40 000 kilometers from the date of purchase, or from the date when the vehicle's factory warranty expires.
There are, however, certain service requirements, such as the vehicle must be serviced by a member of the retail member industry organization, otherwise known as the RMI.
Vehicles with petrol engines needs to be serviced as per manufacturer's specifications, but the maximum acceptable serviceable intervals will be 15 000km's or 12 months, whichever comes first.
Diesel driven vehicles must be serviced every 5 000km's or as per manufacturer's specifications.
This product offers great additional cover on mechanical breakdown expenses.
