Ford Model T

 For Model T

Over 15 million units of the Ford Motor Company’s Model T were produced from 1908 until 1927. The Model T, popularly known as the “Tin Lizzie” or the “flivver,” was fed fuel only by gravity. This, as well as the fact that the reverse gears were more powerful than the forward gears, it often had to be driven up a steep hill backward.

In the first year of market the T was available in green, red, blue, and grey. Black was only offered in the second year. Eventually, to manufacture the popular car faster and more cheaply, only black was available.
